Emma G. — G is short for Ghaemmaghamy— just released this Christmas Country/Pop Tune that should be right underneath Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas is You” on your Christmas playlist.

Also playing on Apple Music and BandCamp

Believe it or not, the New Zealand native, DC transplant popstar Emma G. who is no stranger to adversity and always delivers when it comes to bringing positivity and joy to her fans, actually needed a little bit of convincing to create this track as the holidays are a reminder of darker times. Thankfully “DC’s Friendliest Cowboy”, Mason McCormick —who is featured in the single — convinced her to create the track. As true as the song itself, Emma G. and McCormick could count each other to create this Christmas hit that will be a part of my Christmas playlist for years to come. Director Nick DePinto and Videographer Darin Smith should be commended on exceeding their goal of making something beautiful from a continuous shot, this video keeps you drawn in the Christmas cheer.

This is actually Emma G.’s 10th single this year and despite our pandemic she hasn’t been sitting on her hands this year. She started her podcast Real Talk with Emma G, runs a artist and vocal program known as Unfunk Yourself, released “My Life, My Songs, My Healing” Digital E-book, and dropped a new single every six weeks this year, this being the last.

You can listen to Emma G. live from her bedroom
